A NEW ERA - NORWOOD INTRODUCING NEW COMPANY-WIDE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Embracing new technology continues to be vital in ensuring the long-term success of New Zealand farmers. On the 6th of August 2020, Norwood is introducing a new company-wide reporting and inventory management system.

The introduction of the new system will be one of the most significant and rewarding transformations Norwood has undergone in the last 70 years. This change will pave the way for innovative and exciting opportunities for us to better serve our customers, however it is a journey that will not be accomplished overnight. During the coming weeks, we will be making some changes that our customers need to be aware of.

Back to basics

On the 31st of July 2020 for approximately a week following, there will be periods of time that Norwood staff are unable to use some of our computer systems. This is because we need to transfer data from the old system into the new one which can take some time.

During these periods, requests might take a bit longer than usual to process because our team will be handling these manually.

Practise makes perfect

Leading up to the start of August, the Norwood team will be practising how to best handle customer requests manually to ensure as little disruption as possible.

Because of this, you may see Norwood staff processing your request manually rather than using a computer.

Visual changes

Customers may notice slight differences to the look of our statements and invoices.

Accurate data

Customers may hear from a member of the Norwood team asking to confirm their details. This is to ensure the data that gets loaded into our new system is as accurate as possible.
