KUHN completes its range of finger conditioner mower-conditioners with the FC 3515 D mounted rear model with vertical folding, featuring a working width of 3.50 m.
The mower unit folds up to 126° for maximum compactness during transport and optimum weight balance on the tractor rear wheels.
The FC 3515 D mower-conditioner benefits from the DIGIDRY pivoting steel finger rotor driven by a gearbox, perfectly suited for difficult conditions. With a diameter of 540 mm, it offers exceptional conditioning capacity. Drying is uniform over a large width, an asset in heavy or long forage. The user can also deliver a swath of variable width. The low rotor speed is ideal for delicate crops.
The FC 3515 D model is fitted with the OPTIDISC ELITE cutter bar, renowned for its robustness and cutting quality in all conditions. Easy to use, this cutter bar requires no maintenance and comes standard with the FAST-FIT quick knife release system.
The LIFT-CONTROL suspension offers powerful and constant ground pressure control for improved plant cover protection. Coupled with the release system, it thus contributes to the effective protection of the machine against obstacles. The pivoting point widely offset to the left also contributes to an effective protection of the working parts, at the level of the first discs. The return to the working position is carried out non-stop.
For operations located in very hilly areas or with medium-sized tractors, an adaptable counterweight on the left side of the frame is available as optional equipment. It thus reduces the imbalance at the level of the tractor coupling.
Combined with a front mower, this machine achieves a higher work output.
