There were plenty of tiny Turbos fans making their voices heard through Norwood’s Game-Day Experience competition this month.

We put the call out to all Manawatu primary and intermediate schools to help us find the biggest Turbos fans in the region.

The schools that entered showed us an array of acting, singing, song writing, cheering, and video production skills, and made it very, very tough task for us to select just one winner.

After much deliberation, it was Halcombe School that came out on top. Showing us both their on-field skills and their off-field cheering power, we thought they’d be a great group to have in the stands cheering on the Turbos on Sunday 23rd September.

Halcombe School will be hosted at the Turbos High Performance Centre before the game, where they’ll get a behind the scenes look at where the Turbos train, and enjoy a BBQ with some of the Turbos squad before heading over to CET Arena to see the team battle it out against the Lions.
