About the opportunity

This is your chance to join the Norwood Whangarei team where you will be based, while also providing regular cover at the Norwood Dargaville dealership.  We are looking for an experienced Parts Salesperson to contribute to the commercial success of our Dealership through their success in procuring and selling parts while delivering an exceptional customer  experience.

Supported by the Parts Manager, you will be

  • Communicating with customers over the counter and phone providing them with parts advice

  • Sourcing and supplying parts for tractors and agricultural equipment

  • Keeping accurate records such as inventory control data

  • Involved with the display and sale preparation of products

  • Providing general administration and support for the Parts Manager as required

To be successful you will have

  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment would be ideal, however not necessary as training and support would be given

  • Proven sales ability 

  • A professional manner, both on the phone and face-to-face

  • Evidence of building and maintaining successful relationships

  • A proven ability to take the time to listen and truly understand a customer needs and a definite drive to find solutions 

  •  Ability to read plans and technical drawings
