Suitable for tractors up to 460 HP, the new HR 6042 R is equipped with maintenance-free robust rotors, a reinforced central gearbox fitted with an oil cooler, and a drive line fully protected by two cam-type cut-out clutches on each side gearbox.

The HR 6042 R’s lighter weight and a centre of gravity that is closer to the tractor minimises soil compaction. Drivers will appreciate the reduced lifting power required and a more comfortable ride on fields and roads.
Designed with two half harrows, the HR 6042 R works in fixed and floating positions. In the floating position, each half of the power harrow can travel upwards independently to follow the contour of the ground.
Working depth and levelling bar settings are made continuously and hydraulically from the tractor cab.
A single-beam frame allows better access to the gearboxes and transmissions for easy maintenance.

Designed for compatibility with a wide choice of blades and rollers the HR 6042 R is optimised crumbling, levelling, and tamping.
DURAKUHN carbide-coated bales are fitted as standard for increased resistance to shocks and wear.
For an even longer service life, DURAKARB blades with tungsten carbide inserts are available as an option. These can be fitted quickly and easily thanks to KUHN’s FAST-FIT quick fastening system.
